[News] Ella announces UK tour

Ella has announced details of her debut headline UK tour. Ella will play 11 shows this October and November, including two nights at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Tickets for the tour will go on sale at 9am on Friday (March 27).

“I’m so excited to have my first headline tour coming up,” said Henderson.

“After taking my time to write this record, I now feel ready to finally get these songs up on a stage and bring them to life with my band!

“Performing live is what I feel I was born to do! There really is no better feeling that could match up to the adrenaline rush of a real, live buzz of an audience.”

[Video] Ella previews video for new single ‘Mirror Man’

Ella Henderson has shared a behind-the-scenes look at her new video online.

The singer uploaded a teaser clip for ‘Mirror Man’, the fourth single to be taken from her debut album Chapter One, to her official YouTube channel earlier today (February 13).

In the black and white footage, Henderson reveals that the video was shot in Los Angeles, and describes the project as “very exciting”.

“I think direction-wise I’m taking a completely different route… than I have with any other video so far,” she says.

“This is going to be a lot more graphic, a lot more edgy… you’re going to see probably quite a sassy and quite a cocky side to me.

“And,” the ‘Ghost’ singer adds, “we have a black panther on set!”

Director Colin Tilley (the man behind Nicki Minaj’s raunchy ‘Anaconda’ video), also reveals that the clip will feature some CGI effects.

“Everything that you’re seeing is going to have this crazy, metallic sand melting effect to it,” he tells the camera.

“It’s going to be basically morphing into all these different creatures.”

“For me, ‘Mirror Man’ represents something that I think pretty much everyone has experienced or will experience,” the former X Factor contestant says of the song.

“Someone who loves themselves before they can love anyone else.

“[This video] has been a bit of a crazy one,” she adds. “I just can’t wait for you all to see [it].”

‘Mirror Man’ is out in the UK on March 9.
